These terms and conditions govern the supply of goods and services by CS Blinds & Shutters Ltd ("we", "us", "our") to you ("the customer"). By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.
1. Our Company

2. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on the measurements and specifications agreed at the time of survey. Any changes to measurements or specifications after a quotation has been issued may result in a revised price.
A quotation is not a contract. A contract is formed when we confirm your order in writing and you pay a deposit (where applicable).
3. Orders and Deposits
All made-to-measure orders require a deposit of 50% of the total order value before manufacture begins. The balance is due on the day of fitting, before installation commences.
Because all blinds and shutters are made to your specific measurements and specifications, orders cannot be cancelled once manufacture has begun. If you wish to cancel before manufacture begins, we will refund your deposit in full.
4. Measurements and Survey
We carry out a free home survey before manufacture to confirm measurements. It is your responsibility to ensure that our surveyor has access to all windows to be measured. If access is not available at the agreed time, we may need to reschedule, which could affect your delivery date.
Measurements taken during the survey supersede any measurements provided by you. We accept no responsibility for errors arising from measurements provided by the customer rather than taken by us.
5. Delivery and Installation
We will provide an estimated installation date at the time of ordering. Dates are estimates and may be affected by manufacturing lead times, which are outside our control. We will contact you as soon as possible if there is a significant delay.
You must ensure that the installation area is clear and accessible on the day of fitting. If our fitters are unable to access the installation area, we reserve the right to charge a revisit fee.
Installation is included in the price for all standard domestic orders unless otherwise stated. Commercial installations may be quoted separately.
6. Goods
All goods supplied by us are made to measure and manufactured to your specifications. As such, they cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty or do not match the agreed specification.
Colours and finishes are shown as accurately as possible in our samples, but slight variations may occur between samples and finished products due to manufacturing processes and screen calibration. Such variations do not constitute a fault.
7. Guarantee
We guarantee all goods supplied against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of installation. This guarantee covers repair or replacement of defective goods at our discretion.
The guarantee does not cover:
- Fair wear and tear.
- Damage caused by misuse, accident, or failure to follow care instructions.
- Fading caused by exposure to direct sunlight.
- Damage caused by moisture in rooms where moisture-resistant blinds were not specified.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
8. Liability
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that order.
We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings or loss of enjoyment, arising from any defect in goods or services supplied by us.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Your Statutory Rights
These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If goods do not meet these standards, you have the right to a repair, replacement, or refund.

10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Changes will not affect orders already placed.
